International guest teacher and owner of yoga center Kirtana168 in Curacao
Evado is honored to receive our first Yoga guest teacher Kirti from abroad. She has been teaching yoga since 2005 and runs a yoga studio since 2008 in Curacao. Her background origin is India. She gives Vinyasa and Hatha yoga style classes combined with therapeutic yoga to a wide range of clients from babies to seniors, disabled people, people with weight issues and illnesses. She makes yoga feel as an individual practice. Her background is Hinduism by birth and she has practiced Buddhism. She interlaces the art of breathing and mindfulness into her asana´s (postures) bringing depth and peace of mind in a students´yoga practice.
Her list of certifications is long and impressive: Sivananda Yoga in 2005, Ananda Seva Mission; Yoga as Therapy, 2007; Road to Om (Vinyasa yoga); 2006 The Barnes Method, Yoga for two; Pregnancy yoga & Postnatal Yoga 2006 and Radiant Child Yoga Program by Shakta Kaur Khalsa level 1 and 2; 2006 Certificates of Continuing education from Omega Conference. Various courses followed with: Tias Little, Aadil Palkhivala, Gary Krafstow, Shiva Rea, Bobbi Goldin 1, continuing education from the Conference in Canada, Bo Forbes, Natascha Rizopolous , Jill Miller, Sadie Nardini, Yoga for the Women Cancer Survivor, 2012 Silverage yoga for yoga training for Seniors ( 2007/8), Teacher training completion certificates for the Yoga wall with Bryan Legere done in 2011. Level 1 and 2 2010 Teacher training completion Certificate of Ashtanga Yoga with David Swenson done in 2012.
